270.21 // Rhen Var Conflicts Resolved

A final resolution to developing tensions has been reached, easing relations between local factions on Rhen Var.

For some time during the past few years, we have heard reports out of Rhen Var of several of the local tribes verging on the brink of war. This conflict culminated 270.19 when a peace agreement was finally made. The Jedi Order, who had two of their members stationed on the planet at the time, has released a statement informing us that a small battle erupted, resulting in the decimation of most of two of the more prominent tribes: the Klaar and the Gadzek. Surviving leaders on both sides, now seeing their conflict as futile bloodshed, bonded together in the aftermath, agreeing to join their clans together to form one single tribe.

270.19 // Changes and Additions to the Ranks

After eight years of training under then-Jedi Knight Jamus Kevari and four more years of solitary training, Iverian Prey has been granted the title of Jedi Knight. An Arkanian by birth, he was identified by the Jedi at a young age and processed in Coruscant, eventually being transferred to the care of the Jedi of Yavin IV. Sifting through many times of both bliss and hardship, Knight Prey was deemed worthy of his new title after a heroic defense of the Yavin Praxeum against two Dark Jedi with the mentor population effectively absent for the event.

On this very day, we have also welcomed a new Initiate to our ranks in the young Togruta female, Li Andru. We wish Initiate Andru a successful start towards her new path, and also wish Knight Prey a continuation of his fortuitous dedication to the Will of the Force.

An image captured by Temple security holograms during the course of the evening. The identity of this particular intruder is still unknown and any further information will remain classified at this time.

Two intruders were caught on Temple grounds yesterday evening. They were promptly apprehended after they tried to attack several residents, although both intruders were killed in the process after they refused to cease their efforts. We thank all students for their cooperation with our procedures during this incident. If any students would like to discuss what occured further, they may of course do so with any Knight or Master, as we realize it may have been a difficult experience for many.

The only notable casuality was Sared Kilvan, who suffered extensive injuries and is now recovering in a Bacta tank in the Medbay after undergoing emergency surgery. Please be courteous and respect his privacy as his condition continues to improve.

All students are advised to remain vigilant over the coming days, although the Council believes the situation to have concluded at this point in time.

The chief planet of the Northern Commonwealth Territory takes an unfortunate hit as a rebuilding project is stalled from a lack of funding…

The planet of Mygeeto has faced many a problem in recent times, suffering from the horrors of war from both the Secession War and the Darth Rishi Conflict. Being a center for economic growth and prosperity of capitalism in most of its history, it has consequently been a target in times of armed conflict in order to weaken its possessor’s purse. Following the Rishi aftermath, a regional rebuilding project was spearheaded by then-Planetary Governor Lila Vark in order to bring the financial sector of Mygeeto back to its pre-war thriving state. After a strong start and large grants from the greater Commonwealth, the project seemed to be running smoothly until the funding from the Commonwealth began to dwindle in the past year.
