A Portrait of King Limmaal

Hundreds of thousands of Duros are in mourning today as the death of King Iroas Limmaal was announced. He died a natural death at the age of 82, in the Ranadaast, where he will be buried in a public funeral. The next in line to succeed King Limmaal is his son, Prince Felasi Limmaal II. He will remain in line until he comes of age, with Queen Soora assuming the throne in temporary measure.

Queen Soora asks that we remember King Limmaal for his temperance and kindness.

After days of silence, the mystery surrounding The Ingo Star was solved today after members of the Jedi Order intervened in the rescue efforts. Although local holonews outlets have been sharing their theories of the cause of the freighter’s loss of contact, Naalia Exploration confirmed within the past hour. The headquarters based on Rintonne released a statement that the stranded freighter was the target of a software virus.

The Ingo Star drifted in space for approximately 26 Galactic standard hours after contact was broken. Today’s report indicates that there were no survivors at the time of rescue and families have been informed. However, the blackbox from the freighter was retrieved and analysed at an undisclosed location before being later verified by Naalia Exploration personnel. The company is currently preparing to recover the freighter, the statement claims.

Naalia Exploration also deny that the virus was a malicious attack, but confirm that the freighter might still be hazardous to those who approach it. Whether or not this is a ploy to deter scavengers remains to be seen.

The Ingo Star is the fourth vessel in the past Galactic standard year to lose contact in the tri-sector area. One of the more famous incidents, the disappearance of the Ayyn’reshal, is being made into a holodrama.

The fighting has continued and the Imperium has steam-rolled its armies through the outer rim, collecting an additional ten or more systems to its empire. The Republic has formulated its front line between Ebu and Edusa in the hopes of preventing the Imperium march into Republic space.

Due to recruitment calls, the Republic Defense Force has managed to welcome 500,000 in to its ranks and ready for deployment with an additional 300,000 ready for basic training. The Jedi Order has yet to show any activity with the conflict, with the Senate becoming restless and divided on their lack of activity. Despite the announcement of the Jedi Order to protect the Republic, no military action has yet been operated that we know of. It’s a matter of time before the Imperium starts to operate near the Core and threaten the heart of the Republic; we here at Galactic HoloNews implore in the interest of the citizens of the Republic, in hoping the Jedi Order assists. The Alzoc III government has reported an attack on one of their outposts in the mountains. Alzoc III was formerly Republic, and home to Jedi until their decision to relocate to their ancestral world of Yavin IV.

An explosion ripped the east side of the outpost. Notably the location where stored information was kept. The explosion came from seemingly nowhere. No A.S.F (Alzoc Security Force) mentioned sight of anybody entering or leaving the facility.

However, security camera footage (retrieved remotely) contained sightings of robed figures fading in and out of view:

We can identify these figures from prior knowledge to be Sith. One can only speculate their presence is connected to the facility’s history. It was once a Jedi Enclave, used as a hidden retreat.

We are uncertain the Jedi have left Yavin. The Republic and Jedi keep this information secure and hidden. Nonetheless, if they are, we highly advise them to leave soon rather than later.
