After many hours of battle in the space surrounding Nensil, the two mysterious rebel ships that took the offensive against the Galactic Alliance support ships have at last been destroyed. In the process however, the Galactic Alliance ship Felion and its stationed crew have all perished in the defense of Nensil. Suffering from the combined effects of engine failure, shield generator failure and communications disruption, the capital ship fell rapidly onto the surface of Nensil, where it eventually found impact in a large, deserted plain and subsequently exploded.

Despite the loss of its heroic soldiers, the Galactic Alliance now dominates Nensil space as the Titan and Skywalker received no more than repairable damages. As the battle of Zvarma City still rages, the Galactic Alliance forces can fight with the confidence that only utter control can bring. It is with a heavy heart that The Jedi Council reports that the body of Jedi Adept Ryrek Flavius has been recovered amongst the wreckage of his personal Interceptor ship. The Jedi Council was alerted of an automatic distress signal as Ryrek’s craft came crashing down into the courtyard of the Temple during a heavy lightning storm in the early hours of 271.01. The Masters of the Temple immediately made their way to the crash site, and Ryrek Flavius’ body was identified by Master Corinth and Master Kevari. Moments after identifying the body, the two Masters were injured when the craft suddenly exploded. Both sustained mild-to-moderate injuries, and are expected to make full recoveries.

The crash is currently being investigated as an accident, with the belief that the engine failed after a surge of electricity shot through it when it was struck by lightning.

A funeral will be held for Ryrek Flavius later today, 271.01

Though the Galactic Alliance has found success in retaking multiple cities in the northern hemisphere of Nensil, Zvarma City remains a heated battleground as opposing capital ships add pressure to the operation.

With the retaking of the cities of Mereis and Antimon in the northern hemisphere of Nensil, the Galactic Alliance was optimistic in to eventually take Zvarma City within a few days. These aspirations have been shot down however, as the large city is a described “gundark’s nest”, as rebel resistance remains fortuitous in the capital. In added tension, two rebel capital ships have emerged from unknown parts of Wild Space, critically damaging the Alliance ship Felion after dropping from hyperspace.

With the arrival of Galactic Alliance troops, the capital of Nensil faces a current standstill as both sides begin to solidify.

Finding no resistance upon arrival, the Galactic Alliance warships Titan, Felion and Skywalker were able to transport thousands of troops to the surface of Nensil in order to combat the rebels. Organizing with the loyalists under the command of General Dex Thesor, the Alliance has halted the destructive advances of the rebel Nensilites. This resistance group, now known to be called the Coalition of Rejok, has nevertheless remained confident in the presence of professional soldiers.
