259.19 // Bespin Salvage Operation Begins

The fires on the Ugnaught Surface of Bespin after Cloud City fell two days ago finally burned out shortly after midnight local time on 259.18. Pocket fires populating the ruins and remains of the once proud city had prevented rescue workers, salvage teams and investigators from recovering the countless bodies. Only a small portion of Cloud City struck the artificial habitat but the damage was catastrophic. The wreckage may yet provide vital clues for the investigation team. The rest of Cloud City meanwhile, plunged into the depths of Bespin and is believed to be lost forever.

Greetings JEDI and Community,

The Jedi Council is proud to announce the launch of the renovated JEDI Holonet. Indeed, the previous version had been taken down after maintenance back in 237, and was never restored due to its usual lack of updates and complexity to maintain. This completely new version is meant to be more dynamic and easy to maintain thanks to the WordPress blogging platform.

Breaking news as the City in the Clouds falls!

The unthinkable has happened. At dawn (0600 local time) several explosions occurred within the heart of Bespin’s Cloud City. The repulsor technology that held the city’s superstructure in the air instantly shut down and Cloud City began an hour long plummet into the planets depths.

Yesterday the Corellia based Saa’chee Museum of Intergalactic Antiquities was attacked by a group of mercenaries. It is believed the group were there to steal the countless priceless artefacts and art works held in the museum including Rollock’s No.5, one of the earliest dripping work by Corellia’s revered dripper master.
