The planet Moorja, final resting place of High Councilor Xanto

Galactic Holo News has learned that a senior member of the Jedi High Council, Master Xanto (Ongree male, 65) has been killed in a starship crash on the planet Moorja located in the Inner Rim Territories. Xanto who was on a diplomatic mission on 268.12 encountered navigational difficulties during an unusually large ion storm and careered onto the planet’s surface avoiding any sentient settlements. A Jedi isn’t just a connection to the Force. Being a Jedi takes commitment, dedication, conviction, but most of all, heart. Thus far Yulia Cera has demonstrated these things to our Academy, and that is why she is the latest addition to our home of learning, study, meditation and enlightenment. Troubling news for the Jedi order as the bodies of two Jedi Knights are found, killed using the force…

GHN has learned that the bodies of two Jedi Knights, Renton Brown (32 human male) and Jax Ionstorm (29 human male) have been found in Coruscant’s lower sections. Both Knights were apparently tortured and killed using The Force.

The order first began its search for the two Jedi when both went missing during routine patrols of Coruscants lower districts last cycle.  Renton Brown was found three days ago in section 1473x, 24 levels below the main promenade adjoining victory square. On scene inspectors reported that all of his limbs had been bent backwards and all of his major bones crushed with no visible signs of trauma or bruising. Read the rest of this entry »

After long lasting years of training, Moza Ferorn fulfilled his destiny into becoming one, a fully-trained Jedi Knight. Though training is done, learning never ends. As the Force holds many mysteries and secrets, it will be now upon Knight Ferorn to uncover them as he learns from the Force itself.

We, the Council, would like to commend and congratulate the brilliant efforts and dedication Knight Ferorn has given to the Order, as well as the continuous commitment to the vows he took upon joining the Order.

It is also with great pleasure that the Council wishes to welcome our new students in the ways of the Force and followers of the Light. Undoubtedly, Z’phos and Valon Rachius will grow strong and powerful under the tutelage of their Masters and friends here at the Jedi Academy of Yavin IV.

As we all know, the path of the Jedi is one hard task, filled with trials and temptations, but with enriching rewards from training and dedication. To become a Jedi is one hard task; to stay one is even harder. The Council has no doubt that Initiates Z’phos and Rachius will honor their vows into becoming, one day, powerful Jedi Knights of the Order.

Jamus Kevari, the Battlemaster of the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV was formally recognized as a Jedi Master today by his fellow Jedi Masters, along with former Jedi Master Ctathos Ederoi, who was Master Kevari’s Master when he was a Padawan Learner.

Jedi Master Kevari is from the planet Dantooine, but has lived among the Jedi Order since he was Initiated on 236.30. He was initially taken as now-deceased Jedi Knight Alkaiser Aruladan’s Padawan Learner, but was soon transferred to former Jedi Master Ctathos Ederoi, who completed Kevari’s training. Since becoming a Jedi Knight on 248.10, Master Kevari has trained three Padawans, one of whom has been Knighted–Cyril Feraan. He succeeded his Master as the Battlemaster of the Temple on Yavin IV, and is well-known for not only being an excellent lightsaber instructor, but an excellent duelist himself. It is even rumored that he may be the best duelist in the Order. Due to his many accomplishments over the years, the other Jedi Masters of Yavin IV agreed that the relatively young Jedi Knight should be acknowledged as a peer and fellow Jedi Master.

On behalf of the Jedi Order, congratulations to Master Kevari. It is something he has earned.
