Kuat Drive Yards is on the lookout for an Aqualish male after being the victim of sabotoge earlier this afternoon. Seventeen dock workers are listed as being in critical condition after an orbital construction frame was set on a collision course into one of Kuat’s orbital shipyards, compromising environmental integrity and causing several billion credits worth of damage to the incomplete ship and the shipyard’s support frames.

Thanks to expedient actions on behalf of support crews, the shipyard’s geosynchronous orbit was adjusted and brought back to stable conditions within the hour. Recovery and relief efforts were further expedited upon the arrival of Jedi Master Jared Quell, who proceeded to oversee evacuation of the injured construction teams. Master Quell, long-time friend of the family-owned and operated Drive Yards, was not available for interview, but did help officials confirm the ‘destructive intentions’ of the saboteur, ruling out the possibility of technical error on behalf of the company.

Security officials are now circulating the above composite sketch of the infiltrator, characterized by an over-sized right tusk and un-characteristicly calm demeanor. Any information leading to the arrest of this individual should be reported immediately to Galactic Alliance security.

Representatives from Skye Systems claim that a Senior Technician of theirs died in a speeder accident at the capital. The speeder was seen traveling North through the East Sector late in the afternoon.

Security suggested that the facial recognition systems placed around the city for use in criminal justice were purposed with finding the doctor by staff records after he missed a mandatory department meeting. A representative with security suggests that the records were not conclusive and that their department has been unable to confirm the actual state of the Doctor at this time.

Skye Systems has been an important actor in many local projects on Alzoc 3 by pumping money into the economy in the form of using local sites for research and development. Galactic Alliance representatives suggested that the allegations of a rift between Skye Systems and Local Security were exaggerated and that relations only soured as a sense of competitiveness.

Rumors suggest that local interests have also necessitated the recruitment of the Jedi Order in establishing an understanding firsthand of the Doctor’s disappearance. Doctor Leen’s personal records and Holonet information have been removed from public access as of tonight and Skye assures that an autopsy will be completed and provided to confirm Leen’s death as a result of the incident.

Security Chief Ikto Lon was not available for comment.

A body crashing through one of the private booths of the III Starships in Alzoc Capital was reason for much commotion this evening. Upon further inspection, the male Gran appeared to have been shot with a blaster at point-blank range before being launched from a high ledge.

Jedi presence in the area intervened within moments after the event took place. Eyewitness reports state to have counted as many as six Jedi on the scene, involving themselves in the entire happening. Reports from apartments further down the block mentioned to have counted at least three active lightsabers at some point during the encounter. Chief Lón of the capital’s security department had this to say:

“As was reported, we can confirm that an individual did indeed perish in a fall from one of the upper levels late in the evening of 295.01. We are treating the incident as a homicide and as such, cannot comment further at this time. We would like to ensure our law-abiding citizens that we believe this to have been an isolated incident, and are actively investigating the situation with someone already being brought in for questioning in connection to the incident. Our streets are still safe to walk. Thank you, that will be all.”

With no confirmation as to the extent of the involvement of the Jedi present on the scene we can only go by eye witness account of their activities before the incident was said to have taken place. Reports say that the Jedi were seen hauling equipment back and forth between the hotel where the alleged murder was said to have happened. This then transcends into madness as the Jedi became involved in a stand off high above the street levels. Soon after Alzoc medical and forsensic teams showed up on the scene cornering off the area where the alleged victim of the fall is said to have been. Rumours have it that one other victim was killed during the chase but this has yet to be confirmed in full detail.
