Earlier this morning, GSN reporter Tok Dailvy spoke with Padawan Learner Jin Fals’oo, confirmed apprentice to High Councilor Erzent Xileen. Notably, there has been an extreme decrease in the Jedi Order’s activity in the Galaxy, not only in the Core due the travel ban. The High Council has not fought against it publicly, besides Jedi Padawan Wrennin Vae’s speech, meaning no effort from the Council has been made for it to be lifted. Padawan Fals’oo’s claim? …Allegedly, the Jedi Order has faced catastrophic loss at the hands of the plague.

“The High Council has not fought the travel ban to conceal the Order’s losses. The Order too has been plagued. It is the cause of so many a death within the Order. …I could not hide this from the general public, because I believe they had a right to know why their protectors have not been as active as we have been in the past. I do not care what the Order does to me for sharing this information. I follow the Force’s will, not their’s. Why would they keep this secret? I do not know. Honesty and transparency are principles of the Jedi Code. Principles they clearly have forgotten.”

Deputy Chief of State Asujin Tirahimo spoke with the High Council at the demand of the Senate. The High Council has agreed to conduct a LIVE interview with the GSN Team at the Yavin IV Temple, with High Councilors Sebastin Creed, Erzent Xileen and Vrita’senv’ila on 337.16 around 1500 GST, to confront the allegations in what many are calling ”the interview of the century”.

The Jedi Order congratulates Jedi Knight Nico Keztor on his promotion to a Knight and official member of the Jedi Order, witnessed by High Councilor Sebastin Creed and Councilor Amalia Feyn. May his training prove fruitful as he adopts a new role within the Order, and eventually grant him the patience and wisdom to pass that knowledge on to another.

Reports and studies have shown the Jedi Order has significantly decreased aid to planetary systems across the galaxy. The Jedi Order has denied request upon request of assistance with an increase of 110 % in the past five years. Questions are being raised given the severity of the situation faced by countless people overwhelmed by hardship.

Earlier today Senator Iordo Del’kee of New Alderaan proposed action in consequence to the Order’s indolence,

“Despite the Order’s compliance to the travel ban, there is no excuse for any of the other Jedi branches to remain as inactive as a hibernating Wampa. Is it too much to ask from the Galaxy’s ‘greatest defenders’ defend us in these dark times?! I think not!

If this dormant state persists, I will make a motion to remove majority funding to the Order and place it towards medical research for finding our beloved Republic a cure to this tormenting and infectious plague. Unless the High Council can answer for their rude, off-putting behavior, I and innumerable senators are prepared to take action!”

For the most part, people of the Republic share Senator Iordo’s sentiment, leaving many to angrily wonder, ”Where are our sworn protectors?”

Reporting live from the Sandria Manor. It appears the Senator’s new head of security is about to release an official statement in regards to the intrusion on her estate. This will be the first public address from the Senator’s staff since after the night of the incident.

“My name is Rui Vuusen and I have been a member of the Jedi Order for most my life and plan to remain so for the foreseeable future. I have come to defend Senator Sandria from any further unlawful invasions on her home. Firstly, I want to make it clear that I do not support, nor am I in agreement with any of her motions against the Jedi Order. However, I cannot stand by and watch as the Order I have given my life to commits these terrible crimes and brings its name into disrepute. Especially by those I called my closest friends.

To the Jedi that committed this crime, you’ve gone against everything we stand for. I trust that the Council will deal with this action appropriately and that you will do what is right and honourable and turn yourself in to Correllian authorities. In the mean time, I shall continue to provide security to the Senator until this matter is resolved.”
