Jedi Knight from Yavin IV found dead on Csilla
Earlier today the death of Jedi Knight Sarrecm’ar’reccarve was confirmed when his body was found on the Chiss homeworld of Csilla. Reports indicate that Knight Marr had traveled away from the temple in order to seek out training tools for his Padawan Aldor Arkanous, a young Nautolan Jedi.
The body was found in the uncharted regions on the planet of Csilla, completely frozen over due to a malfunction in his life-support system. The Jedi’s space fighter was found nearby, also frozen over. Chiss reports indicate that a military funeral service will be held for the Jedi, who at one point held a Colonel’s position in the Ascendancy military. After their service, they will send the body back to the Jedi Temple of Yavin IV, the home Temple of Sarrecm’ar’reccarve.
It is not known what the Jedi plan to do with the body, however, one thing can be stated: Jedi Knight Sarrecm’ar’reccarve led a long and busy life. Brought to the Jedi Temple after a mission on Jabiim, the young Chiss was initially trained by Xa’o Zalei before being transferred to Gabe Alkorda, who would complete the Jedi’s training. Going on various missions, and eventually leaving the Order altogether only to return over a decade later, Sarrecm’ar’reccarve will be remembered as a Jedi who firmly believed in taking an active role in the galaxy.
It is with a heavy heart that The Jedi Council reports that the body of Jedi Adept Ryrek Flavius has been recovered amongst the wreckage of his personal Interceptor ship. The Jedi Council was alerted of an automatic distress signal as Ryrek’s craft came crashing down into the courtyard of the Temple during a heavy lightning storm in the early hours of 271.01. The Masters of the Temple immediately made their way to the crash site, and Ryrek Flavius’ body was identified by Master Corinth and Master Kevari. Moments after identifying the body, the two Masters were injured when the craft suddenly exploded. Both sustained mild-to-moderate injuries, and are expected to make full recoveries.
The crash is currently being investigated as an accident, with the belief that the engine failed after a surge of electricity shot through it when it was struck by lightning.
A funeral will be held for Ryrek Flavius later today, 271.01

Today we would like to wish the most recent addition to our ranks, Delmi N’jork, a fine start on his path of becoming a Jedi and a faithful servant of the Force. A young man from the Outer Rim planet of Nevlaan, Initiate N’jork has gone through a patient process of evaluation before being accepted into the Jedi Order this day. Please join us in congratulating him on his acceptance.

After eight years of training under then-Jedi Knight Jamus Kevari and four more years of solitary training, Iverian Prey has been granted the title of Jedi Knight. An Arkanian by birth, he was identified by the Jedi at a young age and processed in Coruscant, eventually being transferred to the care of the Jedi of Yavin IV. Sifting through many times of both bliss and hardship, Knight Prey was deemed worthy of his new title after a heroic defense of the Yavin Praxeum against two Dark Jedi with the mentor population effectively absent for the event.
On this very day, we have also welcomed a new Initiate to our ranks in the young Togruta female, Li Andru. We wish Initiate Andru a successful start towards her new path, and also wish Knight Prey a continuation of his fortuitous dedication to the Will of the Force.
