464.12 // Local Robbery Solved By Jedi Students
Authorities confirmed today that the recent theft of a high-value jewel from the well-known Naeruun Materials and antiques, has been resolved, following an investigation led by two unidentified Jedi students dispatched from the Order earlier this week.
The jewel, described by officials as “extremely expensive,” was recovered intact. one injury was reported, and no damage was done to the shop itself. Local security officials emphasized that the case was resolved without the use of force, citing the Jedi’s restraint and investigative skill.
“They pushed for answers, but didn’t make me feel uncomfortable,” said Manager Talla Vireen, who was present during the incident. “They listened. They asked the right questions. It was… thorough. Respectful. I won’t forget that.”
According to authorities, the culprit was identified after inconsistencies in witness testimony were revisited over the course of several interviews. Officials declined to release the individual’s name but confirmed the suspect acted alone and has since been taken into custody pending further review.
Valuator Renn Calder, also present during the morning of the theft, praised the Jedi’s approach.
“I’ve worked around investigators before,” Calder said. “Most of them decide what happened before they finish the first conversation. These two didn’t. They let the truth catch up to itself.”
When asked about the Jedi’s identities, Officer Stown shot down the questions in respect to his friend, and contact.
“That’s the impressive part,” Calder added with a laugh. “They were fairly young, yet very precise.”
The Jedi leading them has not issued a formal statement, though a brief communiqué acknowledged the successful recovery and thanked local authorities for their cooperation.
As for the two Jedi responsible, witnesses say they departed shortly after the investigation concluded, quietly, without ceremony.
“They did their job,” Vireen said simply. “And they did it well.”
