465.13 // Grandmaster’s Tour

In a rare public address, from the Jedi Order’s eastern heart, from the steps of the Ossus Temple. Jedi Leader, Grandmaster Audax has announced the commencement of a galactic tour spanning across the Jedi Order’s primary and secondary facilities. This would mark the first such initiative by a sitting Grandmaster in over a century.
“The Galaxy grows restless. It is not enough for the Jedi to remain watchers… Guardians from afar. We must stand among the people, remind them that we are servants of the light, not just symbols of it.” Audax stated.
The tour, scheduled to span over several cycles and will include visits to the, Duneden, Rannon, Taloraan, and Ilum. With additional appearances across the smaller outposts. Sources within the High Council describe the initiatives intent is to strengthen coordination between the different enclaves and renewal of the Order’s image after the closure of the Thanium Wars. Though, not all observers share the same optimism. Political Analyst Sallin Drexka of the CoreWorld Institute commented, “The Grandmaster’s rhetoric about an active and unified Jedi Order sounds noble… but to some, its smells of centralization, control. Do you think each satellite of the Jedi Order believes the same thing? Preach their code the same way? This is an overreach.”
On the Republic side, reactions have been cautiously positive. Senatorial representatives from the Chandrila Concord praised the tour as a “gesture of transparency, where the Order has often acted in quiet”. While industrial lobbies on Eriadu and Corellia expressed concerns that a more visible Jedi presence could “interfere with commercial security operations.”
So the tour will begin with a ceremonial departure from Ossus, where Masters, Knights, and Initiates will gather to offer the Grandmaster the traditional blessings for his Journey of Light before he boards his ship, the Luminary.
