After learning of his father’s poor health and the fact that he would now need to be an heir to the position of the leader of their clan, Victor had put his training on hold and returned to Eshan.

Shortly after, his father would indeed pass, making Victor the new ruler and leader of his clan on Eshan. That being the case, he knew he could no longer continue his Jedi training, but he would continue to practice the abilities and skills he had learned at the temple. He would as well marry and produce four children, naming some of them after his former friends and colleagues at the academy, Ilya, Patina, Donnan, and the youngest after himself…Vytorin.

All of his children inherited their traits and personality from their mother. But with Vytorin, it was as if the gods decided to give him a second self.

He was destined to follow in his father’s footsteps from the very beginning and become a Jedi. And at a very young age, he began to display signs of force sensitivity, something Victor quickly recognized, being a former Jedi Padawan himself.

Victor encouraged his boy to practice his abilities before enrolling him in a Jedi Temple. Vytorin would not be sent to Victor’s former academy but instead to Ossus, where he would spend his formative years learning how to become a Jedi. Learning the same basics as his father did many years ago. He would also be taught how to control his emotions, but not in the same way Victor had in his youth.

He found the way to train them and use them as a weapon through Echani martial arts. He would spend hours every day practicing with the Masters at the academy, honing his skills. Much like his father, he also showed great fascination with lightsaber combat. At around twelve years old, he and the rest of the younglings would be sent to attend “The Gathering.” He would obtain a simple purple lightsaber crystal during it, which he then stored until the time he built his lightsaber.

He also enjoyed spending days in the legendary Jedi Archives on Ossus reading the stories from ancient times about how the Jedi lived and trained. At around this time, he would also begin to work on building his lightsaber. His father had given his back to the order many years ago, so he could not use his, but he could create one inspired by it. He would spend weeks crafting his lightsaber until he was finally satisfied. The saber he crafted was a curved hilt that at the bottom had an engraved black heart.

For his fourteenth birthday, his father would arrive to visit him at the temple to see his son’s progress. Vytorin would showcase his lightsaber, which impressed Victor, who would then gift him a newly crafted robe. They were white and brown and fit the boy perfectly. However, shortly after, Vytorin was informed that he was scheduled to be transported to the Duneeden Temple.

This was the temple his father spent some time near the end of his time as a Jedi, so he was naturally excited and looked forward to continuing his training at the order.
