Born on Uvena Prime, she was raised by a rather standard, unassuming Shistavanen Clan. Her early life was primarily filled with classes, lessons and lectures about hunting, survival, and how one can contribute to their Clan in a meaningful way. While the Shistavanen were in no way primitive, due to the species efficiency in regards to survival, she was taught how to use her traits in her everyday life. Born into a large family, Rhaani was raised with the mindset of family first, being in a Clan was all that she was going to know. She did her best to get along with who she could, however, having a rather headstrong personality and attempting to make herself the biggest and intimidating, she often came off rather abrasive than anything else to those outside of her clan.

Despite her typical personality, the main thing that Rhaani is after is laughter and to just entertain herself, be it through making herself laugh, or making others laugh. Her family often share their affection through sparring and scrapping one another, without the realisation that it’s preparing them for their life as hunters and trackers.

At the early age of seven, her family spoke of an unfamiliar ship that landed not too far from their city of Ahnrhakk. Upon following those whispers and murmurs of someone strange being on their land, herself, her brothers and sisters, discovered a Jedi. one who had landed for supplies and rations while doing a patrol in the Outer Rim. After the rest of her family were too scared to approach, they all slowly backed away from what they saw, but Rhaani was too frozen in shock to move.

Catching the attention of the Jedi, they approached Rhaani and engaged in conversation while her siblings watched on with awe. After some time, she took the Jedi to the rest of her family where some tests were administered to Rhaani and her siblings, only to discover that she was the force sensitive one in the family. With some discussion, her parents hesitated before allowing the woman to go with the Jedi to start a brand new path.

After a few years and completing their Padawan trials on Ilum, Rhaani was offered to be transferred to the Duneeden branch to which she accepted.
