The First thing that Kesruma can recollect about his time upon Dathomir was being born to a remote clan deep within the forests of the planet and that he was orphaned at a very young age, thus it fell upon the clan to take care of him before they gave him to a foster parent, The Beastkeeper of the clan. Thus from the fifth year of his life and forward were spent deep in nature and surrounded by animals learning to take care of them and learning about the world they lived, then eventually growing a bond with the nature he felt around him growing up along with the beasts he was tasked take care of. He even felt more at peace in the middle of the forest rather then surrounded by other people, listening to the chirps of the avian creatures, the low grumble of Rancors off in the distance, the intricacies of how plants grew. This is where he found true serenity, even in a deadly place like Dathomir, finding the beauty and peace behind the danger. This is what he grew up with and became accustomed to…

And this life-style caused him to feel an innate bond with the creatures around him– Even the ones that he did not raise himself but he felt like he could somewhat ‘understand ‘ them as if to connect with them on a deeper level that he did not understand himself…

…However during his twelve year of life his clan received a stranger clad in brown robes from head to toe one day, simply on a journey across Dathomir as they explained. Which that didn’t bring up any questions from Kesruma himself and instead he focused upon performing his duties, taking care of the animals…

But after the Stranger made his greetings to the rest of the Tribe, their attention slowly turned upon Kesruma and observed him till finally they approached then began interacting with him, asking questions until finally the Stranger introduced himself properly– Being a Jedi and that Kesruma was someone special. This took Kesruma by surprise, why was he special? What even was a Jedi?… And the Jedi explained until Kesruma fell silent… The Jedi then explained that he would like to take him to place where his abilities can be trained…

Took a few hours to decide upon it, but eventually he’d accept. Next the Jedi spoke with the others of the Tribe for hours until finally he had received permission to take Kesruma to the stars…
