Kadvarr Tirladdik was born on the storied world of Ossus to Jedi Knight Kiwron Tirladdik and his wife, Valaa Tirladdik, a former Dark Jedi who had left her shadowed past behind. The family lived in a small settlement within sight of the great Jedi Temple of Ossus. From an early age, Kadvarr felt a subtle pull toward the temple’s spires, sensing that his future was tied to the Jedi Order.

The Tirladdik household often hosted Jedi visitors who came seeking Kiwron’s counsel, for he had played a notable role during the Imperium War. But while Kiwron’s service earned him respect within the Order, it also meant long absences from home. Kadvarr’s earliest years passed with only fleeting contact with his father, leaving the young Cathar with admiration but also a quiet yearning for the bond they had never truly formed.

At the age of eight, Kadvarr’s path was set when Kiwron and Valaa brought him to the Jedi Temple of Ossus for training. After two years as an eager Initiate, he was chosen as a Padawan by Jedi Knight Imil Ucindus, a trusted ally of his father. Much of Kadvarr’s apprenticeship unfolded amidst the crucible of war against the Sith Imperium. On campaign, Kadvarr sometimes crossed paths with Kiwron, who took brief moments to pass along lessons between battles. Yet his true growth remained guided by Imil, who tempered Kadvarr’s zeal with discipline and wisdom.

After many years on Rannon, Kadvarr transferred to Ossus to continue his studies. Kiwron’s journal eventually led him beyond the Jedi archives and back to the homeworld of his people, Cathar. Immersing himself in the traditions of his species, he undertook the sacred Blood Hunt, a religious trial of endurance and combat. It was during this trial, deep in battle against a nest of savage Kiltik, that his destiny took an unexpected turn. Beneath the ground lay a hidden Force nexus, and as Kadvarr fought above it, the nexus surged with energy and seized him.

Caught in its grip, Kadvarr was drawn into a mysterious stasis. Though frozen in body, his mind remained aware; to him, only a few cycles seemed to pass. Yet when he was discovered, more than seventy years had slipped by. Emerging into a galaxy far removed from the one he had known, Kadvarr was haunted by a lingering sensation — as though some unseen presence had marked him, watching from beyond the veil of the Force. Vague and formless, this shadow refused to reveal itself, leaving him with only unease and unanswered questions.

With time itself stolen from him, Kadvarr returned to the Duneeden Temple, seeking answers to a new mystery that now loomed over his path.
