Biography

Kaddigan was born a middle child in a larger, impoverished family nestled deep within the industrial sector of the Fel Empire’s capital world, Bastion. The cards were stacked against him from a young age, due largely to his scrawny build being matched with a fiery temper. The young boy was made to learn the hard way that brawling could not solve his problems, especially when he was the runt of the pack. Instead, he eventually learned to rely more on his wits and his intuitions to get out of trouble, skills that he honed to an uncanny level from a young age.

Whether by simple luck or the will of the Force, a Jedi Watchman passed by Kaddigan’s block and felt the faintest presence of a Forse-sensitive. Investigating the area, the Jedi soon found the source, and Kaddigan discovered that his ability to read other people was far too sharp to be natural. The Jedi offered to take him to Dantooine, where he could train as a Jedi and learn to use his fledgling talents to help others in need. His family was reluctant to leave one of their own to a group they were barely familiar with, but with money and food being scarce, there was little real choice in the matter.

Kaddigan began his training as a Jedi as a younger child. On Dantooine, it was found that he demonstrated an affinity for history and concepts related to the Force, and was a fast learner when it came to tapping into the Force for power. However, he showed a lack of skill with lightsaber theory, lagged behind in physical training, and demonstrated general clumsiness with any sort of mechanical assignments. Over time, his deficiencies began to outweigh his merits, and his skills started to plateau. Kaddigan’s masters agreed that transferring him would be the best opportunity for the young padawan to continue to grow as a student, and perhaps surpass whatever attachments were keeping him from progressing.

With this, Kaddigan Thorne now finds himself a new transfer to the Dunadeen praxeum. He has much to work on, and a long way to go before he’s ready to truly call himself a Jedi.
