Eshko was born into a wandering Jawa clan, the Meeknu, on Raxus Prime. Raised among scavengers who got by from salvaging ruined outposts, crashed ships, and ancient structures on the garbage world. From an early age, he demonstrated an uncanny ability to find hidden things. Instead of searching, he simply “felt” where valuable pieces lay buried beneath the sand.

He wandered off from his clan so often that it became a normal part of daily life. They usually found him sitting quietly among long-abandoned machinery, studying pieces he claimed were “calling” to him. His most unusual discovery occurred when he uncovered an ancient sensor module that reactivated at his touch after hundreds of years of decay.

A group of Jedi investigating strange disturbances sensed the activation and found him there. Recognizing the influence of the Force, they spoke with the clan and brought Eshko to the Ilum Temple for training.

Life on Ilum proved difficult for him. The silence, rigid structure, and unyielding expectations clashed with his restless curiosity. He struggled to sit still, frequently dismantled training equipment, and caused more than one minor incident while trying to “improve” Temple machinery. Though gifted, the Ilum environment stifled him rather than helped him grow.

When the Council reevaluated his progress, they concluded that his learning style needed an environment with more freedom, creativity, and room for intuitive thinking. The Duneeden Temple, known for its flexibility and encouragement of exploration, was chosen as a better fit. Eshko was transferred there for his well-being and future development
