Biography

Growing up in the lower levels of Coruscant, John learned quickly about how the universe truly worked. He wasn’t living the most luxurious of lives, but he was far from unhappy. He got by, and he had his father, if little else.

His father told him stories of the Jedi throughout his childhood. Tales of valour and the importance of honour, respect and selflessness. This, in no small way, kept John from corruption. They had quite the effect on him growing up, so much so, that he’d become a bit of a loner. This didn’t stop him from making friends, but he did choose closely, and the few that he made were as valuable as air.

Although contact with the outside world was kept to a minimum, mostly due to his father not wanting him to get into harms way, this did not stop him gathering information about the universe. He had little in the way of special skills, so he gleamed what he could from the patrons of his local Cantina, while doing the odd job or two, wiping down tables or tending to the droids.

At the age of 14, his father returned late one evening in the company of a hooded figure. John recognised the figure instantly from the stories his father had told him. Although he didn’t hear their conversation, he knew what was to follow. His father had told him this day might come. He would be leaving with the Jedi.
