Born in 321, on the planet of Concord Dawn, to poor farmers, Zechs’ parents were killed shortly after his birth due to illness. Already on the radar of the Jedi Order due to his Force sensitivity, Zechs was quickly picked up by the local Jedi Watchman for placement within the Jedi Order. Due to the Order’s resources in the sector, Zechs was place back under the care of the Watchman who found him, a Zabrak female Jedi named Mira Dreiz. Outside of any Jedi facility, Zechs training took a unique approach of hands on training directly along side his Master. This allowed Zechs to witness much of the Galaxy, from all sides, assisting in helping the poor and being along side his Master during local political negotiations.

Zechs unique training with his Master while she completed her Jedi Watchman duties allowed a higher degree of freedom than typically found within a Jedi temple. This led to Zechs learning many skills such as piloting and tracking at a much earlier age than many other Jedi, as well as many practical lessons of typical Jedi lessons.

In 345, Zechs was on a routine investigation with his Master on Telos, when they were attacked by an Imperium scouting party. Following a brief skirmish, Zechs was able to escape to their ship, but his Master Dreiz stayed behind to buy time for Zechs to escape. Escaping to Ossus after the engagment, Zechs was debriefed on his encounter with the Imperium soldiers by the Jedi High Council. With the death of Master Dreiz, Zechs was left mentorless and without guidance. Seeing the success of the Rannon Praxeum, the Jedi High Council of Ossus decided to assign Zechs to the Praxeum for the final assessment of his training.

348.29 – Zechs Demming is becomes the Ace Commander of the Rannon Praxeum.

352.25 – Zechs Demming takes Zakarie Di’Vosk as his Padawan.

354.30 – Zechs Demming is granted a seat on the Rannon Council.

370.12 – Zechs Demming is granted a seat on the Jedi High Council.

372.03 – Zakarie Di’Vosk is granted the rank of Jedi Knight.

372.17 – Zechs Demming takes Rhuacca as his Padawan.

378.22 – Zechs Demming is granted the rank of Jedi Master.

381.24 – Rhuacca is granted the rank of Jedi Knight.

381.31 – Zechs Demming retires from the Aces of Rannon.

388.17 – Zechs Demming steps down from the High Council.
