Fondor
The homeworld of the Fondorians, Fondor is an industrial planet with a history rich in the production of spacecraft. The famous Fondor Shipyards are home to much of this vital industry, operated using the large-scale production capabilities of the natives, who are considered experts in efficiency and management. Fondor serviced the Galactic Empire heavily during that era and owes much of its current wealth to profits made off of the Empire’s various pursuits between 20 BBY and 3 ABY. The planet was captured during the Yuuzhan Vong war, but eventually relinquished and rejoined the Galactic Alliance, in which it remained until the formation of the New Galactic Republic.
