Draven Skarr

Initiate

Homeworld: Iridonia

Species: Zabrak

Biography

On the harsh, crimson-swept world of Iridonia, where survival itself is a test of will, Draven Skarr was born among the proud and resilient Zabrak. His clan lived in a rugged settlement carved into iron-rich cliffs, where fierce winds howled across the plains and the weak rarely endured. From a young age, Draven was taught discipline, pain tolerance, and self-mastery—core tenets of Iridonian culture. His parents, both hardened warriors, raised him to embrace hardship, believing that strength of body and mind were inseparable.

Yet Draven stood apart. While the other children of the clan grew fierce, quick to anger, and eager to prove themselves in combat, Draven possessed a spirit that seemed untouched by the brutality around him. He showed restraint where others showed aggression, compassion where others sought dominance. He would help injured animals rather than finish them, and more than once he intervened in sparring matches—not to win, but to prevent harm. Some saw this as weakness. Others, quietly, saw something deeper… something rare.

That difference only became more apparent with time. Draven moved with an uncanny awareness, as if guided by something unseen. He could anticipate strikes before they came, sense danger in the stillness of the air, and calm even the most aggressive creatures with little more than his presence. His family began to understand—this was not mere instinct.

One day a wandering Jedi Knight arrived on Iridonia, seeking passage and knowledge of the planet’s unforgiving terrain. During their stay, the Jedi observed Draven from afar. It wasn’t just his unusual awareness that stood out—but the quiet kindness he carried in a world that demanded the opposite.

After speaking with his family, the Jedi revealed the truth: Draven had the potential to be trained in the ways of the Force. Though the decision weighed heavily, his parents came to understand that his gentle nature was not a flaw—but a sign of the path he was meant to walk.

And so, with solemn pride, they allowed him to go.

Draven Skarr departed his homeworld not as a warrior hardened by conflict, but as something far rarer—a child shaped by hardship, yet defined by compassion. Bound for evaluation at a distant Jedi Temple, he left behind the crimson deserts of Iridonia and stepped into a destiny where his strength would not come from violence—but from balance, empathy, and the Force itself.
